Urgent vessel parts to Alta, Norway
An urgent call on Wednesday afternoon, a ship had encountered technical problems up in the high north of Norway, spare parts where located at Antwerp harbor.
Our team quickly jumped in to action and sourced a reliable Swearingen Metro 23, the aircraft available for go now charters in Europe offers a great range for smaller payloads at economical operating cost. The flight was loaded departed on Thursday morning some 24hrs after the initial request out of Ostend Bruges EBOS/OST for a non-stop flight straight to Alta on the fjords of Norway with 550kg of vessel parts. Arranging security screening, packing, DGR documentation in 24hours while checking weather circumstances up north with snow and cold making the operation more difficult and causing delay to daylight operations, the parts where delivered shortly after that to allow the vessel to continue its work within the deadline requested by the forwarder and client.
